Upon your successful application for, or renewal of, the work permit for your foreign domestic helper (FDW), you are required
to submit a Personal Accident, a Medical Insurance Policy & Security Bond of $5,000.
Wef 1.1.2010, the medical insurance must have a minimum limit of at least $15,000 per annum, including Day Surgery.
Wef 1.7.2008, the personal accident insurance must be at least $40,000.
The Security Bond in favour of the Controller of Immigration is to guarantee that the Employer and the work permit holder (the FDW) will comply with
all conditions under which the work permit was granted. The medical insurance is to protect the Employer against the FULL medical expenses
incurred should his/her maid needs to be hospitalised due to accidents or illnesses as the medical subsidies for all
foreign workers will be removed wef 1.1.2008.

All applications will be duly processed within 15 minutes of our receipt and they will be transmitted to the Ministry of Manpower on
the same day if received by 5.30 pm (weekdays) and 12.30 pm on Saturdays, except Public Holidays.
