Our eProtect Helper Insurance is a competitive and comprehensive package of benefits developed to meet the needs and obligations of individual employers like yourself beyond the requirements of the Ministry of Manpower. It offers you protection against unforeseen medical or hospitalisation expenses incurred by your domestic helper during her stay with you. Our plans are underwritten exclusively by Etiqa Insurance Pte. Ltd.
What is Covered?
  • Security bond of S$5,000 to Ministry of Manpower
  • 24 hour Worldwide Personal Accident Cover of up to S$100,000 for your domestic helper (except on home leave)
  • Hospitalisation and Surgical Expenses of up to S$100,000 per year
  • Outpatient Cancer Treatment and/or Kidney Dialysis of up to S$4,000
  • Critical Illness of up to S$3,000
  • Special Grant of up to S$4,000
  • Up to S$7,500 for your domestic helper's liability to third parties

Premium is including GST. The premium is calculated on 24 months' period basis in line with the work permit period. We do not charge any premium for the additional two months grace period as required by MOM. This additional two months period cannot be transferred to the next work permit renewal or extension period. This policy is protected under the Policy Owners' Protection Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC). Coverage for this Policy is automatic and no further action is required from you.
